Connecticut Collections is a project of the Connecticut League of History Organizations and includes a growing number of participating organizations. It helps organizations build internal capacity, and by providing public access, builds awareness of Connecticut history and heritage.

Connecticut Historical Society (Connecticut Museum of Culture and History) is the state’s official historical society. Established in 1825, the CHS has a collection that includes more than 4 million manuscripts, graphics, books, artifacts, and other historical materials. Their menu includes lots of sub-menus, so take your time to explore the many resources available online.
